The materials

Natural stone, quartz or porcelain.

Natural stone is quarried, so every slab is one of a kind. Quartz and porcelain are manufactured for consistency. The right choice depends on the look you want and how you cook, clean and use the space.

01

Quartzite

Natural stone

A very hard natural stone formed from sandstone, often with soft, marble-like movement. It needs periodic sealing; confirm a slab’s properties with us before you commit.

02

Granite

Natural stone

Natural stone in a wide range of colors and patterns, well suited to everyday kitchens. Needs periodic sealing.

03

Marble

Natural stone

Classic veining on a softer stone that can etch and develops a patina with use. Often chosen for baths and lower-traffic surfaces.

04

Quartz

Engineered

Engineered from crushed quartz and resin, so color and pattern stay consistent from slab to slab. No sealing required.

05

Porcelain

Sintered stone

Porcelain and Dekton slabs are fired at very high heat, so they resist sun, heat and stains and never need sealing. Slabs are thinner, and edges can chip from a hard knock.

Questions

Countertop questions, answered.

Don’t see yours? Call the showroom and talk to someone who works with the stone every day.

What is the difference between granite and quartz countertops?

Granite is a 100% natural stone quarried from the earth, so every slab has its own pattern. It is porous and needs periodic sealing. Quartz is engineered from about 90–95% ground quartz bound with resins. It is non-porous, never needs sealing and has a more consistent pattern, but granite handles heat better.

How much do countertops cost in Fort Myers?

Every project is quoted individually. The price depends on the slab you choose, its thickness, the edge profile, cutouts and the layout of your space. Slab prices change often, so we don’t publish price ranges. We provide a detailed quote after reviewing your project.

Do natural stone countertops need to be sealed?

Yes. We seal granite, marble and quartzite at installation. Granite is usually re-sealed every 1–3 years, quartzite every 1–2 years and marble every 6–12 months. If water beads on the surface, the seal is still working. Engineered quartz, porcelain and Dekton never need sealing.

How long does countertop installation take?

After you select a slab, we schedule an in-home template visit to measure your space precisely. We fabricate your countertops at our Fort Myers facility, then install them. Most kitchen projects are completed within 10 business days from templating to finished installation.

Can I see the slabs before I choose?

Yes, and we recommend it. Natural slabs vary, and a small sample rarely shows the full movement of the stone. Visit our showroom at 11741 Metro Pkwy in Fort Myers, Monday to Friday 9 AM–5 PM and Saturday 9 AM–1 PM.

Which countertops work for outdoor kitchens in Florida?

Granite, quartzite and porcelain or Dekton slabs are the strongest choices outdoors. Porcelain and Dekton are made to resist UV, heat and weather, which makes them a good fit for an uncovered lanai or grill island. Granite and quartzite hold up well outdoors too, but some colors can fade after years of direct sun, so ask us which slabs suit your space. Most engineered quartz manufacturers do not recommend outdoor use, because prolonged UV exposure can yellow the resin.

Is marble a good choice for a kitchen?

It can be, if you are comfortable with some maintenance. Marble is heat resistant and stays cool, which is ideal for baking, but it is softer than granite or quartz and can etch from acidic spills. Regular sealing and prompt cleanup keep it looking its best, and many owners like the patina it develops.

What edge profiles are available?

We offer eased and bevel edges for a clean, modern look, plus bullnose, half-bullnose, ogee and waterfall edges. We will help you choose a profile during your consultation.

Which areas do you serve?

We serve Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Lehigh Acres, Sanibel Island, North Fort Myers and Marco Island, along with communities throughout Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties.
